Mr. Kohl spoke today in Sarajevo in the closed meeting to the members of the Bosnian Presidency. These are some reactions to his very first visit to B&H: Today’s visit of Mr. Kohl to B&H has received no special response in Germany. German commentators have expressed a skepticism in respect of this visit and a brief meeting with leaders of three peoples in Bosnia.

The official election results were announced today in the main office of the Electoral Commission of Serbia in Belgrade. Milan Milutinovic won 59% of the electorate while Vojislav Seselj won 37, 57%. The RS President, Biljana Plavsic congratulated Mr. Milutinovic on the election results.

A Serb member in the Bosnian Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik sent a congratulatory letter to Milan Milutinovic on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections.

The internal Protocol on implementation of the special election results signed by SDS and Serb Radical Party in Bijeljina was the major topic of today’s press conference of Serb Radical Party.

SDS and Serb Radical Party will suggest the mandators at the constitutive session of the Assembly which would, as Mr. Poplasen said take place on January 12th, 1998 in Bijeljina. SDS will suggest the president of the RS NA whereas each SDS and Serb Radical Party will suggest Deputy president of the Assembly.

The president of Party of Independent Social Democrats, Mile Dodik stated at today’s press conference held in Banjaluka that that party was convinced that the RS NA must be held on December 27th while the constitutive session of the RS Government should take place by January 15th. He pointed out that he would talk to Serb National Alliance and to Socialist Party in regard to that issue.

Mr. Dodik criticized SDS and Serb Radical Party’s signing of the Protocol and suggesting the president of the RS NA without consulting other parliamentary parties.

He also criticized Momcilo Krajisnik who did not attend the ceremony held a day before in Sarajevo on the occasion of Mr. Clinton’s visit. He added that Mr. Clinton’s dialogue with the RS President was another international recognition of the RS.

The Intellectual Forum of RS voiced its attitude today: One of the priorities, the Forum finds, is the constitution of the RS NA and the Government. The Forum calls upon all the parties and leaders to agree about it as soon as possible.

The citizens of BL got the major at last. It is Mr. Djordje Umicevic from Serb Party of Krajina and Posavina, the deputy major is Mr. Mihajlo Crnadak from Serb Patriotic Party and the president of the Executive Board is Mr. Nebojsa Radmanovic.

The very next session of the Town Assembly is scheduled for December 29th, 1998.

The IPTF spokesperson, Alun Roberts stated today that the Ministry for civil affairs and communications of B&H was responsible for discontinuation of traffic between Banjaluka and Sarajevo. He said that problem was a violation of the freedom of movement, and that IPTF investigated the case. He also spoke about the reconstruction of police and St. Georgije radio station.

The SFOR spokesperson spoke about SFOR’ activities related to recent arresting.
