High Representative’s visit to Banja Luka
As announced, the High Representative is in Banja Luka today.
This morning he visited the Banja Luka Health Centre’s Casualty Department, meeting patients and health workers. This crucial department treats more than 120 patients per day, many of whom are in critical or life threatening conditions. Despite this, the Casualty Department’s staff work with outdated equipment, their salaries are four months in arrears and the Casualty Department has been “provisionally” located in the basement of Health Centre for more than 30 years.
The High Representative will meet with Milorad Dodik and RS Prime Minister, Dragan Mikerevic in the early afternoon. There will be photo opportunities at both of these meetings. Later in the day, the High Representative will meet RS President Dragan Cavic. There will be a statement top the press following this meeting.
