Brcko Supervisor’s Office Hosted Dutch Students

Deputy Head of Brcko Final Award Office (OHR Brcko) Gerhard Sontheim today received a Delegation of professors and students from the Netherlands Defence Academy (NLDA).

The students have presented their research papers on two topics; one of them exploring whether the reforms in Brčko can be seen as a success, and the other one analysing the question of potential lines of division in Brčko. Mr. Sontheim provided his opinion on the students’ presentations on the subjects.

“It is rather impressive to see how comprehensively these foreign students have studied and analyzed the development of and the current situation in the Brcko District of BiH. We surely encourage their interest in this area. Certainly, the District is a success with its reforms, although there is still room for improvement, especially in the field of functioning of public institutions, economic revitalization and inter-ethnic confidence”, said Mr. Sontheim after his meeting with the students and their mentors.
