Yesterday, 3rd of December 1998, Brcko Supervisor Robert W. Farrand issued an Order suspending from office Mr. Franjo Cancarevic, councillor of the Ravne-Brcko Municipal Council. Mr. Cancarevic is barred from all elected or administrative positions in the pre-war Brcko Opstina for a period of twelve months.

The Supervisor was deeply disturbed to learn of the violent death of Amir Karic in Brcko on the night of 26 July, and sends his sincere condolences to the Karic family. The Supervisor asks all political parties and media to await the results of the police investigation and to refrain from making statements that may raise community tensions.

Donation of a truck with a high-pressure water jet unit to the Sava Water Supply Company in Brcko
A truck with a high-pressure water jet unit is being donated to the Sava Water Supply Company in Brcko to benefit local residents by helping to clean and maintain Brcko's sewage system.
