Супервизија у Брчком – Информације за јавност

On Saturday, 3 January, at 12:00, UNIPTF will host a ceremony in front of the local Brcko police station to mark commencement of the work of the Brcko Multi-Ethnic police.

The Supervisor invited RS Prime Minister Klickovic to his office on December 16th to discuss the implementation of the three Supervisory Orders on Multi-ethnic Administration, Judiciary, and Police in the RS Municipality of Brcko.

Statements have appeared in the Republika Srpska press describing the Supervisory Orders on the Multi-Ethnic Judiciary and on Privatization as "unintelligible and legally unfounded".

Privatisation in the area of Brcko Municipality which is under the Supervision of International Community has been stopped from today. Supervisor for Brcko Robert W. Farrand has taken this step in order to protect ordinary citizens of RS since the current RS legislation on privatisation lacks a sound technical framework.

Contrary to reports in the world press, the situation at the Brcko Bridge is normal. Private and commercial traffic is crossing regularly. RS customs officials and police stationed at the bridge are complying with Supervisory Orders on the collection of fees at the bridge. Supervisor for Brcko Robert W. Farrand condemns the Serb Radio Brcko broadcast November 12 of a public statement issued jointly by the Association of War Veterans and other organizations. The statement lists names of elected counselors of the Brcko Municipal Assembly and calls for their arrest as war criminals.
