Brčko Supervision – Press and Public Information

In order to avoid any further confusion and misconceptions that might result from recent news reports in combination with the latest press release issued by the Mayor of Brcko on the issue of the Brcko District Budget 2006 proposal, Brcko Supervisor Susan Johnson would like to clarify some of the basic facts on this issue.

Brcko Supervisor Susan Johnson issued a Supervisory Order amending the Statute of Brcko District of BiH to establish a separate position of Vice-Mayor who will not at the same time be a Head of Department.

Brcko Supervisor Susan R. Johnson issued a supervisory order entrusting the Agencija za posredni~ke, informati~ke i finansijske usluge A.D. Banja Luka with the task of verification of old foreign currency savings within the Brcko District.

Brcko Supervisor Susan R. Johnson urges councilors from all parties and national groups in the Brcko District of BiH to approach their work in a realistic, constructive and civilized way, bearing in mind their responsibilities to the citizens of the District and their obligations under the Statute.

Brcko Supervisor Susan R. Johnson yesterday issued a Supervisory Order reiterating the requirement for the Supervisor’s approval for the disposal of public property in the Brcko District of BiH.
