OHR Office in Derventa Opened

Regular Inter-Entity Bus Traffic to Start in July
At a meeting convened by the OHR yesterday, officials of the Federation, the Republika Srpska and Bosnia-Herzegovina pledged to implement a two-month old decree on inter-entity bus lines, which will allow regular bus traffic between the Entities to start early next month.

Independent Media Commission
The High Representative, Carlos Westendorp, adopted a decision on 11th June 1998 establishing the Independent Media Commission (IMC). IMC will establish a regulatory regime for broadcasters and other media in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A director general, Krister Thelin, has been selected following a transparent recruitment procedure.
