BiH is fast approaching the entry into force of the new State Level laws on Defence - January 1st, 2006. This is a major achievement. However, key legislation has to be adopted in order to ensure the smooth transfer of competencies to the State Level. As you know, the Political Directors of the Peace Implementation Council will meet in Paris on Wednesday, 14 December. The BiH authorities, led by Chairman of the BiH Presidency Ivo Miro Jovic and Chairman of the Council of Ministers Adnan Terzic, will participate in part of the meeting.
