High Representative Christian Schmidt and PDHR/Brčko District Supervisor Louis Crishock had a very productive and constructive discussion with U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Western Balkans, Alexander Kasanof, regarding the latest political developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Our exchange reaffirmed our shared commitment to advancing critical reforms and enhancing stability in the country, all while preparing to meet the challenges of future Euro-Atlantic integration”, said HR Schmidt.
High Representative expressed his gratitude to DAS Kasanof for the United States’ continued involvement and steadfast support of the Dayton Peace Agreement. “I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the United States for its tireless efforts in helping Bosnia and Herzegovina prosper and develop. Additionally, I am grateful for the unwavering support the U.S. provides to the work of the Office of the High Representative (OHR) and to my role as High Representative in fulfilling the mandate of implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement.”
