The session of the Serbian Government for appointment of a new, interim Government has been postponed.

A two-day Arab Summit started in Cairo. The Egyptian President, Hossney Mubarak criticised Israel for their imprudent attitude.

At least 2 Palestinians died in new clashes in Gaza.

The UN Assembly condemned military force used by the Israeli Army against civilians, demanding urgent cease of clashes.

104 people died in clashes between the Colombian Army and leftist rebels in Columbia.

Sarajevo

The management of the Sarajevo dairy “Milcos” has been replaced. Employees hope that the production will finally increase, Amarildo Gutic reported.

Banja Luka

The International Union Conference is taking place in Banja Luka. Representatives of education unions from B&H, Croatia and Yugoslavia, as well as the International Education Union are participating at the Conference. Unions from Norway are sponsors of the Conference. Reported by Dragan Stanimirovic.

Sarajevo

Association of the displaced “Nas dom” for return to Sarajevo settlements Dobrinja I and Dobrinja IV organised the third session in the Novi Grad municipality. Only 6 families returned to their homes in the last six months. The association demanded that the OHR answers them when the Dayton would be implemented in Dobrinja I and Dobrinja IV by 31st October. Meliha Hasanbegovic produced the report.

Travnik

No house has been reconstructed in the village of Vilenica, near Travnik so far. Nevertheless, several refugees returned. The Minister for reconstruction and development of Srednjobosanski Canton met citizens of the village, Olivera Dimac reported.

Trebinje

The body of the famous Serb poet, Jovan Ducic, who died 57 years ago in the USA has been transferred to his hometown, Trebinje. Ducic’s body will be buried tomorrow. Reported by Darko Savic.

Kiseljak

The first reconstructed mosque was solemnly opened in Kiseljak today. The mosque was constructed in 1974, and it was destroyed during the war, in 1993. The report was produced by Vanja Elezovic.

Bijeljina

A group of artists founded the art association “Sunce” in Bijeljina. The aim of the foundation is gathering of young artists and presentation of their works in the “Sunce” Gallery, which is also the Central Office of the Association. Reported by Vesna Mladjenovic.
