Belgrade
Thousands of protestors blocked the streets of Belgrade, demanding recognition of the September election results. The Parliament and RTS buildings were on fire. The fire has been localised and the buildings are now controlled by the opposition. The police used tear gas in order to scare protestors, Danica Ilic reported from Belgrade.
The Yugoslav Constitutional Court cancelled the September election results. The Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Milosevic and Kostunica to go to Moscow. The EU Commissioner, Xavier Solana said that the EU recognise Kostunica as the new Yugoslav President.
Vojislav Kostunica scheduled a session of the Federal Parliament.
Banja Luka
The Main ICTY Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte visited Banja Luka, where she met the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik. They agreed that certain low level cases of war criminals can be processed in the RS. A liaison officer will be in the Hague in the future, and present interests of the RS. Ms. Del Ponte also met the Director of “Veritas” information centre. Reported by Tatjana Lajsic.
Vitez
SFOR blocked the Post Office and a part of police warehouse last night. They found certain anti-Dayton materials. Local officials were not informed about the action.
Mostar
The Headquarters for Defence of Dignity of Croats organised a protest in Mostar today. “We feel that there is a kind of institutionalised fight against Croats in B&H, and we cannot tolerate it”, said a delegate of the Central Headquarters for Defence of Dignity, Miro Grabovac Titan. Sarajevo
The B&H Council of Ministers organised a session today. They adopted a customs tariff proposal of entity governments, and supported yesterday’s agreement from Zagreb on social insurance. The Council demanded making of a draft election law as soon as possible, Vedran Persic reported.
Mostar
The Federation Government organised a session in Mostar. They discussed transformation of ZPP and measures which should improve export into EU countries.
Sarajevo
According to the plan, the State Border Service should take over 8 more border crossings by the end of the year. In this way, the State Border Service would cover 60% of B&H. “We are trying to de-politicise all our members, and prevent possible bribes and corruption”, the Director of the Service, Slavisa Vukovic said. Sarajevo
The Council for co-operation between B&H and Croatia will focus on stabilisation of trade and legal relations, as well as refugee return. They solved several problem issues in yesterday’s session in Zagreb, Zeljka Lekic reported.

Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations in Paris failed. They agreed to continue negotiations in Egypt. According to agencies, Israeli forces are withdrawing from key positions in the West Coast. Reported by Mladen Maric.
Tuzla
Employees of the “Aida” factory in Tuzla started a hunger-strike today, demanding their salaries. The Tuzla Canton Government granted DM 45 000 of aid for “Aida” employees, Elma Nakicevic reported.
Sarajevo
Two donors’ programmes for the Clinical Centre in Sarajevo have been cancelled. Both Austrian and Swiss teams blame Dr. Ismet Pezo, the Head of the Surgery Department for failure of the programmes. Amarildo Gutic produced the report.
