New members were appointed to SDA Main Board Saturday
| BHT1 Marina Boskovic – SDA is no longer a mono-ethnic political party claim leadership of this party after session of SDA Main Board held on Saturday. For the first time, members of the Serb and Croat and other peoples became members of the SDA Main Board and Presidency. Namely, two Croats, two Serbs and two persons from the line of other peoples were elected into party’s Main Board. This way, says SDA President, Sulejman Tihic, SDA turns to future and creates European political party. “As of today, we are not a mono-ethnic party, not only formally, but in practice,” said Tihic. His proposal on entrance of two members of each constitutive people and from the line of others provoked huge discussion among present SDA members. “Members on one political party must have equal status and must be equally ranked at the same list,” said SDA member, Hasan Cengic. One of the candidates, Sreto Tomasevic, is elected into Main Board regardless the fact that 5 other candidates had more votes that himself. He is not bothered with the fact that he is elected on the basis of the national key, stating that otherwise he wouldn’t be noticed. “I am relatively new face here,” said Tomasevic, adding that he can’t compete with founders of the party and old members. Tihic announce that he will sent instructions to cantonal and municipal boards of the party to accept new members from the other peoples as soon as possible, in order to have significantly changed structure of the party before general elections. NTV Hayat: SDA inappropriately bolded only names of people who are not Bosniaks
| NTV Hayat By Senad Hadzifejzovic – SDA has sent a fax to CD in which they have inappropriately selected the names of new members of SDA Main Board and Presidency, being that only names of people who aren’t Bosniaks were marked in bold, which the reporter saw as very inappropriate way to emphasise the alleged multi-ethnicity of the Party. The bolded names of people elected to the Main Board are: Desnica Radivojevic, Stjepan Lapenda, Ivica Saric, Milenko Karovic, Miroslav Mirojevic and Sreto Tomasevic, while in the Presidency those were the names of Josip Jurisic and Ljiljana Sakic. |

Marko Pavic was re-elected DNS President

Chairman of HNC Association of Blind People Peric: Croats discouraged to speak in their mother tongue
| RHB – Chair of HNC Association of blind people Ivan Peric was a guest of HB Radio news. Peric is commenting the situation in Croat media in BIH and says that Croats are trying to be discouraged to speak in their mother tongue. Peric says that by not allowing the Croat media in BIH Croats are being incorporated into Bosniak nation. Peric also stated that certain Croat politicians are pretending to be blind when it comes to situation in the media in order to save their positions. He also expressed his hope that the situation with salaries to HNC public media employees will be improved since that is in the interest of not only the blind people abut all Croat people living in BIH. |

Zenica prison is another BiH institution, which is unable to solve this issue permanently due to uncoordinated entities’ law regulations. BiH Deposit Agency: deposit limit increased to 7,500 KM
| TV Pink – After BiH Parliament accepted change in Law on bank deposits, by which deposit limit has been increased from 5.000 to 7.500 KM, BiH Deposit Agency claims that another increase will take place. According to this, deposit, in amount of 7.500 KM, would be returned to a person, no matter what happens to the bank, within 150 days. It seems as if BiH has managed to return BiH citizens’ trust in BiH banks. |
| BHT1 Zoran Sarenac – After RS Privatisation Agency announced huge interest for the international tender for purchasing of State capital in Banjaluka’s brewery, offer is delivered only by Sarajevo brewery and by Fund Altima Partner from London. RS Agency says that the winner of the tender will be announced after they check regularity of the offers. On another side, representative of the NGO National Front, Dragomir Babic, claims that there are plans on failure of this third tender for Banjaluka’s brewery and that company will be privatised for 1 KM. “No one besides RS Government and RS Agency can’t decide on company’s privatisation, to whom and for which price it will be sold,” said director of the company, Predrag Radic. Babic announce that he will deliver relevant documentation on this case to BiH institutions. “I will deliver documents to SIPA as well, because I suspect that here in question is illegal financing of political parties and someone has to come and conduct an audit in Banjaluka’s brewery,” said Babic. Banjaluka’s brewery had income of 4,6 millions KM in 2003, while in 2004 company had 2,3 millions KM losses, under administration of Radic. |
