20 June 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - The Quick Start Package has finally been endorsed by the BiH CoM and both Houses of the BiH Parliament, announced the media. The report carried a statement by Deputy HR Michael Steiner who expressed his satisfaction that the first legislative act of BiH has been endorsed.

19 June 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - The BiH CoM held a session today to discuss preparations for a Donors Conference. After the session, the press were told that the terms of the conference had been postponed for 12 July. Co-chair Haris Silajdzic commented by saying that the BiH CoM did its best to prepare for the conference.

17 June 1997, 19:30 External debt - There is no confirmation that the RS has paid its share of the BiH foreign debt. Namely, yesterday's negotiations resulted in an agreement that the FBiH would pay the due amount of the RS debt. The WB was supposed to be a guarantor that the RS would pay the loan back to the FBiH.

16 June 1997, 19:30 The World Bank announced stoppage of its loans and new reconstruction programs in BiH, due to the non payment of the expired loan, although it remains interested in investments in this country. World Bank officials Christina Wallich and Rory O'Sullivan confirmed this today in their talks with the BiH high ranking politicians.
