26 May 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - The State Presidency convened for nearly six hours in Lukavica, behind closed doors, today. Haris Silajdzic, CoM Co-Chair attended the meeting in the name of the President, Alija Izetbegovic. It was a preparatory meeting for the PIC Steering Board session scheduled for 30 May in Sintra.

22 May 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - At today's session, the BiH CoM failed to endorse a set of laws from the "Quick Start" package, the main prerequisite for holding the Donors Conference in BiH. The only tangible result of the session was the endorsement of the budget and budget expenditures drafts.

21 May 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Alija Izetbegovic received a delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Principle Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov. Jakov Gerassimov, representative of the Russian Federation in BiH also participated in the meeting.

16 May 1997, 19:30 The Contact Group for former Yugoslavia held another meeting prior to the Steering Board session scheduled for May 30. Ministers of the EU will meet in Luxembourg on June 2, which will be the last meeting of Mr. Bildt as the High Representative.
