28 Aug 1997, 19:30 Brcko/RS - Several hundred Serbs loyal to Pale authorities attacked strong SFOR troops with poles and stones. The attack occurred early this morning after SFOR had blocked the police stations in Brcko. Soon after the attack, SFOR troops retreated.

25 Aug 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - After it seemed that the BiH Presidency meeting would finally convene, it failed once more to hold a session. Citing problems in RS, Krajisnik did not appear for a meeting at the Museum. Instead, Presidency Chairman and Members Alija Izetbegovic and Kresimir Zubak, held a working session with HR Carlos Westendorp.

22 Aug 1997, 19:30 Tuzla - Fadila Mehmedovic, 46, was killed last night in the demilitarised zone, 25 kilometres north of Tuzla, and Sefik Kalamujic, her son in law, was seriously wounded by the shots fired around 800 metres from the control point.
