14 May 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - The Federation HoR continued its 5th session, discussing for the third time the central and the only issue of establishment of new municipalities. The session was stopped without any agreement reached again. Most of the problems occurred when the MP's started to discuss the Usora municipality.

13 May 1997, 19:30 Sarajevo - Special Envoy of the Croatian President, Franjo Greguric met with Chairman of the BiH Presidency Alija Izetbegovic to discuss the announced meeting between the two presidents. However, no details on the talks were disclosed nor was the date of the Tudjman - Izetbegovic meeting designated.

7 May 1997, 19:30 As reported, Dusan Tadic was ruled to be guilty on 11 charges by the UN war crimes court in The Hague. The trial will result in a sentence that is to be brought at a separate hearing on July 1. The House of Representatives of the Federation Parliament was reported to be in session today.

6 May 1997, 19:30 Dubrovnik - A two day informal session of the BiH Council of Ministers concluded its work today. Debating behind the closed doors, ministers reached agreement on three out of ten issues on the agenda. The first issue was the draft on the 1997 budget.
