High Representative/EU Special Representative visits Zagreb

The High Representative and EU Special Representative, Christian Schwarz-Schilling, will be in Zagreb tomorrow and Friday.

The High Representative/EU Special Representative will address the 10th Croatian Forum in Zagreb . This event is organised by Intercon and sponsored by the Croatian Foreign Ministry.

The High Representative/EU Special Representative will focus on the challenges ahead for Bosnia and Herzegovina, the reforms the country must undertake to make progress on the road to Europe, and the changing nature of the international presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including in particular the transition from an Office of the High Representative to an Office of the EU Special Representative.

In the course of the two-day visit, Mr Schwarz-Schilling will also hold a series of high-level meetings with the Croatian authorities.

The High Representative/EU Special Representative will meet with President Stipe Mesic on Thursday and with Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic on Friday.
